Pets are family.
They are our best friends, standing by our side as we journey through life together. In return, they trust that we will care for them, love them, and protect them.
But then the unthinkable happens.
You receive a notice of eviction. You get an alarming medical diagnosis. Or you need out of a messy relationship. Suddenly your life is turned upside down and you're forced to ask yourself, what now? How do I get through this? And how can I continue to care for my beloved pet when I can barely care for myself?

That's where Stay Together Furever comes in. We are a 501(c)(3), tax-exempt organization founded in late 2023 and operating in north-metro Atlanta, Georgia. Our mission is to provide dogs and cats with loving foster homes for up to 90 days for pet parents who are facing a major, temporary life crisis. We focus our efforts on lower-Income families and fixed-income seniors, those who may have no other choice but to surrender their pets due to overwhelming financial constraints. Simply put, we help people and their pets stay together forever, because pets are family.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Commencing January 1, 2026, and continuing until further notice, Stay Together Furever will be scaling back its operations so that we can focus on a time- and labor-intensive initiative that, in the long run, will position us to better serve the Atlanta community. As part of this scale back, we regrettably will NOT be reviewing applications that are outside our geographic service area.*

In addition, we will NOT be able to respond to requests for immediate help. Due to limited manpower, our response time, which typically has been within 24 hours, may drop to as much as one week or more. Therefore, please only reach out to us for help if your lead time to find a foster solution is weeks away.
